Port of Dover Car Parking - FAQs

  • Question Can I book on the day?
    • Asnwer We strongly advise all of our customers to pre-book car parking. Although parking may be available on the day it is not guaranteed. Cruise parking customers who have not pre-booked should, on arrival at the Cruise Port, advise staff that you wish to arrange for parking. You will be directed to the Car Parking office. (Please note that an additional charge will apply)
  • Question What benefits will I get from Pre-booking?
    • Asnwer The main benefits are that you will have a guaranteed parking space and you will save money by receiving a discount when pre-booking. Pre-booking also means you will not need to worry about buying a ticket on the day as all pre-booked tickets will be sent direct to you.
  • Question How secure are the Car Parks?
    • Asnwer Our car parks have been awarded national “Park Mark” security status and regular security patrols of the parking areas take place. The Port of Dover benefits from a dedicated Police Force as well as a team of Traffic Wardens.
  • Question How long will it take for me to receive my parking pack?
    • Asnwer Unless otherwise stated you should normally receive delivery via email within 5 working days.
  • Question What kind of payment methods can I use?
    • Asnwer We accept online payment by Credit or Debit Card.
